- The agreement, which will come into effect on 1 January 2023, reinforces the specialised training provided by the Banking Training School
- Cecabank has chosen CEF.- for its extensive experience in the world of financial training
MADRID, 12 DECEMBER 2022.- The Cecabank Banking Training School is an academic institution with 50 years of experience, and its main mission has always been to train professionals with a high level of competence and social responsibility.
During this time, the School has become an agent of change and innovation, with a commitment to the continuous training of professionals and adaptation to new regulatory requirements, through professional certifications and accreditations, as a way of providing differential added value.
The bank's 2022-2024 Strategic Plan included a review of the portfolio of services that Cecabank had been offering, including its financial education activity. In this regard, and in order to preserve the value of the training content provided by the School and offer continuity of services to customers, Cecabank signed an agreement to transfer the School's assets to the CEF.- UDIMA Educational Group, which comprises its business school, CEF.- Centro de Estudios Financieros, and the Distance Learning University, Universidad a Distancia de Madrid - UDIMA.
The CEF.- UDIMA Educational Group places special emphasis on academic training that is close to reality and daily practice, and therefore bases its development on the expertise of its teachers, most of whom are professionals with extensive experience in the subjects they teach, which they share with their students, one of the main distinguishing features of their teaching system, together with their own material.
The agreement is a continuation of the school's training work and the decision to choose CEF.- as a partner is based on its extensive experience in the world of financial training.
For Arturo de las Heras, Chairman of the CEF.- UDIMA Educational Group, this agreement emphasises "the efforts that our educational institution has been making in the field of financial training", and he thanks Cecabank for the trust it has placed in its model and teaching staff.
Paz Navarro, head of the Banking Training School at Cecabank, commented that "this strategic agreement guarantees the best service to our customers with whom we have had a long-standing relationship and reinforces our contribution to the specific training of professionals in the financial sector".
