New value proposals in the financial sector

Funcas

From the perspective of the financial sector and markets, change is in the air, driven by a monetary shift that could be termed "accelerated normalisation" and that coincides with an acceleration of digitalisation and progress towards platform-based services.

What could be a natural transition is being impacted by the prolonged exposure to zero and negative rates and the difficulty encountered by numerous stakeholders in understanding this new environment. At the same time, the interactions (competitive, some, collaborative, others) of technology companies with the financial sector seem to be changing in recent times.

The aim of this conference is to answer questions such as: what can we expect from the new macroeconomic, competitive and technological environment and what are its implications for the financial sector? How are consumers and investors embracing these changes? What role does technology play, and what value proposals does it currently offer to the financial sector?
