Who is…?: Lourdes López Carrasco, Head of Planning and People Development at Cecabank.
- How did you enter the world of training and describe your professional career path so far?
I started as a Human Resources intern at CECA, undertaking recruitment and training tasks. As the institution grew, and then at Cecabank, I took on new responsibilities and specialised, until today.
- In your opinion, what are the 3 current challenges faced in training and development?
Getting staff to be proactive in their development. Integrating new solutions such as AI, analytics and gamification efficiently. Finding a balance between the different training areas so that not everything is compulsory compliance courses.
- Can you describe a prominent project you have developed within the institution of which you are proud?
In recent years we have been doing some very interesting things, but if I can only choose one, I would choose Crece/, with which we have revolutionised talent management at Cecabank. We have comprehensively worked on multiple aspects such as performance management, succession planning, management development, talent pools, digitalisation of processes and acquisition of new tools, giving our work a new impetus.

A forum for colleagues who are passionate about promoting training and development within their organisations. Brimming with good people, who are always willing to share their experiences and lend a hand whenever you need it. A constant source of inspiration and learning.
