The Impact of Digitisation and Regulation on Post-trading
As a leader in custody and depositary services for collective investment and pensions institutions in Spain, Cecabank has for the last 5 years brought together professionals in the industry along with supervisors and regulators. The conference provides a space to reflect and debate on operational, regulatory, and market changes which continue to have a direct impact on the sector.
On 23 November the 5th Securities Services Conference organised by Cecabank will be held at the Madrid Stock Exchange. At the event, securities companies, CII and pensions fund managers, venture capital companies, and banks, will all come together to discuss current issues such as the opportunities open to investment funds in securities lending, T2S in the present and future, and the present and future of pan-European infrastructures. There will also be a debate on the interplay between fintech, investment firms, custodians, and other market players, under the umbrella theme of the impact of digitisation on the industry and regulatory pressures.

The latest Securities Services Conference from Cecabank will be held on 23 November at the Madrid Stock Exchange with the title “The Impact of Digitisation and Regulation on Post-trading”.
At this fifth edition we will focus on current issues such as the opportunities open to investment funds in securities lending, T2S in the present and future, and the present and future of pan-European infrastructures.
There will also be a debate on the interplay between fintech, investment firms, custodians, and other market players, under the umbrella theme of the impact of digitisation on the industry and regulatory pressures.
The Chair of the CNMV Sebastián Albella will open the conference, and Carlos Conesa, Assistant Managing Director of Financial Innovation and Market Infrastructures at the Banco de España will close the event.
The event is aimed at executives, managing directors, operational managers, regulatory compliance managers, legal executives, internal monitoring managers, accounting managers; and staff involved in operational and monitoring divisions of CII management companies, pension fund management companies, securities companies, closed-ended collective investment fund management companies (venture capital) and venture capital companies; and securities agencies and companies, financial depositary companies, and finance companies offering securities services to clients and IFACs.
