The '6th edition of the Blockchain & Digital Assets Forum' was held on 7 November at Zenit The Studio, an event organised by El Confidencial in conjunction with other organisations such as Mastercard, La Liga, Allfunds, Metrovacesa and Grant Thornton.
The central theme of the event was the current state of Blockchain technology and its digitalisation process. Regulators, major consultancy firms, economists, legal experts and all kinds of key experts in the crypto-asset environment were brought together to discuss and reflect on this theme. Participants were able to attend the various scheduled round tables that discussed the current state of the ecosystem, its challenges and regulatory developments, the role of digital assets in portfolio management, the emergence of tokenisation in the advisory sector, NFTs, Web3 and the role of financial institutions in this paradigm.
Aurora Cuadros, Corporate Director of Securities Services at Cecabank, participated in the event. Aurora participated in a discussion on the possibilities and evolution of blockchain in investment funds in Spain, accompanied by Carlos Salinas, Head of Digital Assets at Morabanc, and Sergio Fernández-Pacheco, Azvalor Asset Management - CFO and COO. This round table commenced at 10.55 a.m.
Zenit The Studio opened its doors at 9 a.m. to welcome attendees to the event, which ended with a closing speech at 2.25 p.m.
